Sherdley Park Golf Club

Sherdley Park Golf Club is a private club, founded in 1973, that plays its golf at Sherdley Park Municipal Golf Course in St Helens. The club exists to provide organised competitive golf throughout the year on one of the best courses in the North West. Members choose to play the main weekly competition on Friday, Saturday or Sunday morning. All members are eligible to enter all of the competitions, regardless of handicap. Members' handicaps range from 2 to 28 and most people find that playing regular competition golf improves their game.

New members are welcome. There are no joining fees and for 2011 the annual subscription is £100. There is a special offer for 2011: Three friends can join for the price of two!!

The Tavern/"Cafe in the Park", renovated in 2008, is open for business. Everybody is welcome to enjoy good food and drink in pleasant surroundings after their golf game. You do not have to be a member to enjoy these facilities: the cafe and bar facilities are open to all. The facilities are also available to hire for functions at reasonable prizes.
